I-80 Corridor Pavement & Capacity Expansion (Segment A)
Work included removal of (1) existing overhead sign truss and DMS system, including foundations, electrical components, and associated infrastructure, with salvaged materials transported and stockpiled per Iowa DOT requirements.
Installation work included approximately (1,265 LF) of 4” galvanized rigid conduit mounted on bridge support racks with associated expansion fittings and full coating per IADOT bridge painting specifications. Additional work included installation of bridge-integrated conduit systems, embedded conduit within structural concrete, and abutment conduit sleeves for future connections.
Electrical work included installation of over (1,000 LF) of circuits, structure-mounted and trenched conduit systems, grounding, and fuse equipment. The project also included installation of (12) pier-mounted underdeck lighting fixtures and (4) stainless steel junction boxes, coordinated with bridge construction sequencing and staged roadway closures.
