  • Work included installation of (20) roadway lighting poles, (2) control cabinets, (20) handholes and junction boxes, (4) meter pedestals, (5) underdeck lighting fixtures, and more than (10,700 LF) of electrical circuits, along with drilled shaft light pole foundations constructed in challenging soil conditions.
  • The ITS scope included installation of fiber optic and communication infrastructure consisting of approximately (5,500 LF) of fiber optic cabling, over (2,100 LF) of HDPE conduit installed via trenching and bored methods, cabinet and handhole installations, power connections, and removal of existing ITS infrastructure.
  • Traffic signing work included construction of a new (75′) overhead sign truss, installation of Type A and Type B guide signage, breakaway sign foundations and support systems, sign modifications, and removal or relocation of existing signs and structures.
  • The project also included installation and maintenance of (4) temporary traffic signal systems at the Madison Avenue and I‑80 ramp intersections, including controllers, signal heads, detection systems, cabling, and full system programming to support staged construction operations.
  • Additional work included embedded conduit systems within bridge barriers and structures, underdeck lighting, roadway electrical removals, and coordination of extensive lane closures associated with reconstruction of the Madison Avenue interchange.
